Christmas Daddies

     The Christmas Daddies Telethon is a live, six-hour show broadcast throughout Canada's Maritime provinces on the Atlantic Television System.  The 24th annual Christmas Daddies Telethon (for Sydney) is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th, noon until 6 p.m.

Money raised from this telethon is distributed by the Children's Aid Society and the Salvation Army to help underprivileged families and abused children during the Christmas season. The money is also used to help subsidize certain medical costs throughout the year. In the past twenty years Christmas Daddies Cape Breton has raised over two million dollars.
